It is not only necessary to take care of our face but we should also take care of our hands. Try out these recipes for your hands in low cost and be benefited.
Its not necessary to go for parlours to have manicure, you can done it by yourself in your homes.

Manicure:

The Ingredients
Cotton balls or Q-Tips
Nail file and/or nail clippers
Warm, soapy water in a shallow bowl
Cuticle Cream
Cuticle Stick
Moisturizing hand lotion
Damp cloth

The Steps

  1. Start by removing any old nail polish. Moisten a cotton ball with nail polish remover and wipe gently starting at the base of the nail to the tip.
  2. Use an emery board to file your nails. If your nails need to be trimmed, do so now. File your nails in one direction starting at the edges and moving toward the top and to the type of shape you want your nails to take.
  3. Soak your fingers in soapy water for a few minutes to soften the cuticles. Use an anti-bacterial hand soap or one with some moisturizers.
  4. Rub a cuticle cream on the cuticles. Use a wood stick or your fingers to gently push back the cuticles.
  5. Massage your hands with a moisturizing lotion.
  6. Then wipe nails with a damp cloth to remove any excess oils.

COCOA CUTICLE CREAM
This rich cream is perfect for massaging into the cuticle at the base of each nail to condition and increase circulation. Use daily to keep cuticles soft and help promote healthy nail growth. 2 tablespoons coconut oil 1/2 teaspoon grated cocoa butter Combine coconut oil and cocoa butter in an ovenproof container and heat gently until melted. You may use the stovetop or microwave. Stir well until you have a smooth cream. Let cream cool completely before using.

JOJOBA BEAN CUTICLE CREAM
This rich cuticle cream made with jojoba oil can be massaged into your cuticles to condition them and increase your nails’ circulation. Jojoba oil has become popular recently because it is similar to our bodies’ own natural oils. Many health-food stores carry this oil.

2 tablespoons sunflower oil

2 tablespoons jojoba oil

1 teaspoon anhydrous lanolin or lanolin cream

2 teaspoon coconut oil

Combine ingredients in a heat-resistant container and heat gently in a double boiler or in the microwave. When all ingredients have melted, pour the mixture into a clean container. Cool completely before using. Massage a small amount into your cuticles.

AVOCADO CUTICLE CREAM
Avocados have a high fat content, and when combined with oil, they transform into a rich natural cream.
Mash 1/4 of an avocado and mix with one teaspoon olive oil. Massage into your cuticles and wait 20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

Molasses Nail Soak (softens cuticles and strengthens and conditions nails)
1/4 cup warm water2 tablespoons molasses
Mix the water and molasses together, stirring well. Soak your nails for 15 to minutes and then rinse. For extra conditioning, apply the solution to clean nails with a cotton swab at bedtime, and rinse in the morning. Don't worry. This mixture rinses easily and won't leave your hands sticky.

Milk Hand Mask (can be used on face and body as well)
1/4 cup buttermilk

1/2 cup powdered milk or powdered buttermilk
Mix the buttermilk and powdered milk to form a smooth paste. Using a small paintbrush or pastry brush, spread an even layer of this mixture over your hands. Leave the mask on until it dries, approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse off with cool water and pat dry. Because milk is high in protein and vitamins, this mask really nourishes the skin, giving it a healthy glow.

Natural Nail Luster (to promote nail growth)
1 tablespoon pure olive oil

1/2 tablespoon powdered white clay (also called kaolin, found in health food stores)

Mix the olive oil and clay into a smooth cream. Massage a small amount into your nails and cuticles. Buff gently with a cotton buffing pad.

Manicure In a Jar

This is my personal hand savior when I need my hands to look freshly manicured in two minutes. I do not use nail polish, so having groomed cuticles is very important.
Ingredients
· 1/2 cup (15 g) organic brown sugar
· 1/2 cup (15 g) grape seed oil
· 5 drops vanilla extract
· 2 drops lavender essential oil
· 1 drop sandalwood essential oil

Method:
Combine the ingredients in a small bowl and transfer to a wide-necked jar so that you can dip your fingers into the mix. Do just that: one by one, dip your fingertips into the jar, massaging the sugary mixture gently into cuticles and knuckles, wave hands gently to please your senses (the scent is lovely!), and briskly immerse your hands in warm water to remove excess oil.
Dry your hands and apply hand cream or plain body oil.

ALMOND BUTTER HAND TREATMENT
1 T. almond oil1 C. butter
Mix well. Before bed, massage mixture into hands, then cover with white cotton gloves. Wear all night while sleeping. Will keep in the fridge as long as butter, but mark clearly to avoid eating.

Doing all these treatments you can achieve beautiful hands naturally.
